The Curious Case Of Benjamin Burton

I don't really know why the hell this movie has such a long name, but curiosity is the one thing that makes me spent my 2 hours plus investigating this curious case..

Benjamin Burton was a baby born at the moment Britain celebrating victory over the World War I, yet some mourning for their good son whose never ever back from the battle field..

However, Benjamin was not any ordinary child, he was given a physical body of a 80 years old man..

No one dare to look straight into this cursed creature's eyes, not even his own parents..

So he was abandoned by his pathetic father, then adopted by a good lady, owner of one old folks home but not orphanage, ironically..

Like all other old man, death become a regular guest of his little house, bringing his friend away, but in a very peaceful manner..

Although Benjamin was too expecting this guest due to his sickness, he still treasure every precious day together with the good lady which he call her mother and his friends..

As time goes by, his curse is instead a gift of life, from wheel chair to walking to running, everyday he see his hair darker his wrinkle lesser..

He is growing young..

One day, Benjamin realized there is a world out there he yet to discover, he decided to walk out of this little house to see the World..

He then leave his mother, his old folks friend, his little girl friend and his little house..

As he step on his journey to many different corner of the world, he met with all sort of unique peoples and event that no ordinary man ever experience, and he never hesitate to share all these with his little girl friend by postcard..

World War II began, once again he met the familiar guest, death, but this time on his fellow friend that used to travel with him on the tow boat 'Chelsea'..

He can hardly feel any peaceful in his heart this time, he has tasted the sore of losing someone for the first time..

He decided to return to his long missed home..

Things change over his few years journey out of this house, what remains is the love her mother to him..

At this moment of time, his little girl friend has grown become a young pretty dancer, and girl friend for many man except him..

Disappointment, he knew he is still look to old to be with her although he has a young heart as her..

One day, few years after Benjamin's return, an accident caused her leg broken, her career is done, she is collapse..

Fortunately for her, Benjamin's love and care for her has slowly cured her collapsed heart..

They finally be together, at this very perfect moment, where both their age matched, though Benjamin knew this perfect moment wouldn't last long..

What happen to them next?

You gotta watch it your own man..

I suppose to blog my point of view for this curious case at beginning has now become blogging movie synopsis haha..

The story line really interesting for me, as we can see.....
